And the Geek Shall Inherit the Earth

It happens so that every year I find my hands crammed with things to do, stuff to get, places to be and EXAMS!.

It is that time of the year again, and invariably I am in the midst of a hustle. The FOSS meet at NIT-C happened to coincide with God’s favorite form of torture – University Exams. It also very conveniently seemed to fit into the two weeks that google chose to listen to the Summer of Code hopefuls.

And when all roads lead to NIT-C, I am left behind. Trying to cram my head with concepts of Theory of Computation and while spell checking my third Summer of Code proposal.

So away from the masses, I gave up my laptop to my friends for the day. And for the first time since its advent, the machine has had MS Windows XP running on it. Rather than being disappointed, I decided to write this post using XP. Check out the toon I made using MS Paint. I use KolorPaint to make my toons usually.

And in another fork of events, Blog Mania has hit the Men’s Hostel. You can see people cracking away at systems, writing new posts and uploading pics, thinking up innovative names for crazy blog concepts. I’ve added two of them I think will outlast the surge of a sudden rush of creativity on my blogroll. Check out Ajmal’s and Ajith’s Blog.
